Keyword intent
Keyword intent refers to the purpose behind a user’s search. It shows what the person is trying to achieve. There are four main types: informational, navigational, transactional, and commercial.
For example, if someone searches “how to bake a cake,” their intent is informational—they want to learn something. If they search “buy running shoes online,” their intent is transactional—they want to make a purchase.
